Southern CA Desert Chapter of HFTP is committed to the education and development of students interested in pursuing a career in accounting. DHAA has scholarships available that are renewable annually. Our scholarships range from $500 to $1500 per award, per year.

Applicants must be from the Coachella Valley; who are high school graduating seniors, or currently enrolled in Junior College or at an accredited University actively pursuing a degree in accounting.

Continuing education in the accounting field for working adults will also be considered.

To provide educational scholarships for Coachella Valley students in the Hospitality Accounting field

Our Requirements:

• The Applicant must be studying accounting.
• The Applicant must hold a 3.0 GPA or higher.
• DHAA members holding a management position (Controller, Accounting Manager, etc.) are not eligible to apply.
• Children of DHAA Members are eligible, if they are studying accounting.
• Applicants must have at least one year of school to complete.

Checklist Of Scholarship Submission:

• Completed Scholarship Application
• Two Letters of Reference
• Essay

Please note, first letter of reference must be from College Professor, Administrator or Teacher.

Second Letter must be from a personal reference or a supervisor/manager.
